Books I Read in 2025

Better late than never, right? It was fun to go through my 2025 list, even as we are 5 months into 2026!

I read 54 books:

11 of them were book club books – The Frozen River was a favorite!
there were several repeat authors – Nita Prose! Alison Espach! Amy Poeppel! ,
and several beloved authors with new books – Amy Poeppel! Adriana Trigiani! Richard Osman! Lian Dolan! Jennifer Weiner!
I revisited old favorites – Pride & Prejudice in celebration of Jane Austen’s 250th birthday!
I read some work-related books – The Reluctant Donor! Roam! SMART!
and listened to audiobooks read by celebrities – Brooke Shields! Diane Keaton (sad face)! Delia Ephron! Jeff Hiller!

I listened to books on Libby or Spotify, I read books on my Kindle, and I read a lot of physical books.

In August 2025 a friend and I went to a summer camp for bookish women and it was such a joy to be around authors, booksellers, and women of all ages who loved to read and were active in their book clubs! It was refreshing and inspirational! We did morning yoga on the grass and listened to nighttime author readings followed by s’mores; we shot archery and went on a wagon ride; we creatively wrote descriptions for silly items from Goodwill and auctioned them off for charity. It was a delightful weekend.

I switched jobs in 2025 and although I still have a lot to learn, I feel like I got my brain back and I loved having all these good books for company.
