Books I read in 2020

You would have thought that with a pandemic and months of shelter-in-place, I would have finished more books in 2020, but I barely met my goal. I guess I had a stressed brain that couldn’t concentrate enough to read much… hope I get it back in 2021!

Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
The first book for 2020 – read on the Kindle. Liked it a lot – told interview style!
The Sweeney Sisters by Lian Dolan
Received from NetGalley – and re-read in the summer of 2020! Written by my Satellite Sister, Lian Dolan, and a great novel! Attended a few online book discussions she hosted.

I bought this one in print. It was one all my colleagues read in grad school, but not me. So I read it.

Another grand story – in NYC! Love this author!
Read on Kindle but learned of it from Jen Hatmaker’s Book Club. It was a great book about modern day and history – in India. Good stuff!

The October book for Jen Hatmaker Book Club! It was good… thought it was predictable but there was a big twist. Murphy ate this one up, so I can’t share it with you!
